Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.
The story you know and love has been given the royal treatment! Aladdin and his three friends, Babkak, Omar, and Kassim, are down on their luck until Aladdin discovers a magic lamp and the Genie who has the power to grant three wishes. Wanting to earn the respect of the princess, Jasmine, Aladdin embarks on an adventure that will test his will and his moral character.

Director's Vision Statement:
I am SO EXCITED to have the opportunity to transport everyone to the mythical and mystical land of Agrabah. A land where Covid-19, hand sanitizer, and fear, are all forgotten from the time that our cast and patrons enter the theater. Where a strong willed princess and her sisterly palace attendants, a bantering brotherhood of street urchins, and lurking villain and his chirpy sidekick, are all changed forever by an encounter with a quick witted, huge hearted Genie, who takes us to a place as colorful and over the top as his/her personality.
Everyone loves Disney and can use a little of what they are familiar with and in these uncertain times. You can expect to see all of your favorite characters brought to life right in front of you. The show is unique, in that it has elements of the original animated movie, as well as some of the newer Broadway songs and characters mixed in.
I envision our Agrabah filled with people milling through the market, vendors bartering in the streets, kids playing games, guards at the ready. A place where a diamond in the rough can fall in love with a princess and live happily ever after, the bad guy gets what he deserves, and everyone learns that honesty and being true to your word are what lead to freedom and peace.
So, come on down, stop on by and join us in our adventure! Escape the real world for a bit and join us in a far away place, Agrabah.
