Description

Welcome to the City of Berk! The food may be tasteless, but we have something other cities don’t - Dragons! In this class, students will explore the foundations of drama, character development, physicality, and storytelling through the lens of How to Train Your Dragon! Grab your favorite dragon, and bring them along for the ride as we dive into the world of theater, drama, and acting. I am so excited to begin our dragon-filled journey together!

Hi, I'm Lexie Hutson! I currently teach 9th grade English in Aldine ISD, and I have a B.A. in English from Texas A&M. During high school and college, I was on my school's improv team and part of many theater productions, both on and off of the stage. I have experience with acting, improv, tech theater, and playwriting. I am incredibly excited to be working with CYT and to help kids develop a love for all things theater!
