Alyson lives in The Woodlands with her husband Wayne. She is mom to two CYT Houston alums-Katie and Grace. Alyson’s love for theater began at a young age while watching movie musicals on repeat. She grew up performing on various stages in Abilene, TX. One of her favorite theatre memories was performing and being a student director for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Alyson’s father taught her to use a variety of tools as she helped him with his woodworking hobby. Before making the shift to theatrical set design and building, Alyson created vacation Bible school sets for a large church in The Woodlands for 5 years. She even built a life-sized roller coaster in the worship center one year! She has been helping to build the worlds of numerous shows for about 10 years. She is blessed to be able to glorify God and use the gifts He has given her in CYT!
