Step into the world of expressive comedy and fearless imagination! In this class, students will explore the art of clowning. Through physical theatre, improvisation, and character-based exercises, young actors will learn the foundations of clown technique: presence, playfulness, and authentic connection with an audience.
Students will create their own unique clown personas, develop solo and group pieces, and experiment with movement and timing. We’ll also look at some classic clown skills such as balloon animals, magic, and more! We’re looking forward to clowning around with you!

Prerequisite: Must have previously completed at least 2 classes in Beginning/Intermediate Drama and be at least 12 years old ** Please do not register for this class unless prerequisites are met
