Are you interested in acting for film, television, and commercials?
This four-day intensive workshop is designed for performers ages 13–21 who want to explore on-camera acting while growing in both skill and integrity.
Students will dive into interactive training, including practice in front of the camera, while learning:
- The key differences between stage acting and on-camera acting
- How to prepare for and approach film and TV auditions with confidence
- What agents and casting directors are really looking for
- On-camera confidence, authenticity, and professionalism
- Industry terminology, etiquette, and expectations
Students will also work on scene study and short on-camera scenes, learning how to:
- Break down a script
- Make strong, truthful acting choices
- Adjust performances for the camera
- Take direction and apply it in real time
In addition to technical skills, this workshop emphasizes a values-driven approach to the entertainment industry. Students will be encouraged to:
- Develop discernment when navigating roles and opportunities
- Build confidence rooted in identity, character, and purpose
