Join CYT this summer for an unforgettable week at Broadway Bootcamp - where we will Work Hard and Play Hard on our CHARACTER, CULTURE, AND CRAFT!

CYT is thrilled to bring our students this amazing opportunity to LEARN from some of the best and GROW in our craft without the pressure of a performance! 

Every day will consist of Master Class Workshops from top musical theater industry professionals!

🌟Tony Smith - 2-time Emmy-nominated Producer/Choreographer and Founder/Executive Director of Adams Davy Agency
🌟Sarah Nave-Smith - Past professional ballet dancer with over ten years of dance studio administration experience and over 20 years of dance experience
🌟Rachael Bynum - Vocal Coach (Music Director, Accompanist, and Vocal Director for youth, high school, and professional productions)

In addition, we will experience Bootcamp-style Fellowship through Food, Fun Activities and Outings, Bible Study, Service Projects, and our favorite thing....Bootcamp Bittle Games! Activities will include offsite adventures, karaoke, a Friday night lock-in, and more!!

So, come one and all to be challenged to Work Hard and Play Hard at Broadway Bootcamp this summer! 

This experience is designed for teens and young adults to get to know each other better, grow skills and have new experiences within their craft, be reminded of God’s love and the gifts He has given them to share, and HAVE FUN without the pressure of rehearsals or putting on a performance. 

*An auditioned-opportunity to sing individually for Nyla Watson in a Master-class-style setting will be available to those who wish to submit audition videos at a later time.

Nyla Watson

Nyla Watson is a dedicated actor, concert artist, voice teacher, coach, and competition singer in the New York City community and a recent grad of New York University (NYU) where she received her Masters in Music Theater Voice. After graduating she had the privilege of starting a voice and acting studio that has adapted to doing virtual voice and acting lessons and coachings. She is a proud graduate of Baldwin Wallace University’s Conservatory of Music (BW) as well! Notable performances include PBS’ ShowBoat: Live at Lincoln Center with Norm Lewis, Vanessa Williams and Fred Willard, Gigantic the Musical (off-Broadway), the touring companies of Hadestown the musical, Wicked the musical, and The Color Purple the musical. Nyla had the privilege of celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the musical Oklahoma! with the Rodgers and Hammerstein estate as a feature soloist in their concert at the 92Y. Nyla was also blessed to have played the roles of Mama Rose in Gypsy and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes during her time at NYU. Nyla also appeared on Broadway in Waitress, and off-Broadway in Black No More.

Tony Smith

Tony is a two-time Emmy-nominated producer/choreographer who began his performance career as a street dancer in Los Angeles. He was discovered for his break-dancing skills at the age of thirteen while on the set of the Blockbuster Movie "Breakin' II-Electric Boogaloo". In his career, Tony has danced and choreographed for numerous recording artists, including NSync, Ricky Martin, Lucero, Barry Manilow, Sandi Patti, The Temptations, Clay Walker, and many more. As a producer, Tony has created projects for television, film, and stage. He is currently the owner and Executive Producer at Adams Davy; a Brand Activation and entertainment firm whose clients have included L’Oreal Cosmetics, Walt Disney Entertainment, Kawasaki Motors, Kohler, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sony Music, and others. Tony is especially honored to have been involved with client planning and execution for The Olympics, World Cup, Super Bowl, The World’s Fair, and other high-profile events over the years. With all that he has accomplished, one of his greatest experiences was working with the Muppets of Sesame Street!

Sarah Nave-Smith

Sarah’s influence in the arts undoubtedly came from her parents - her father working as the Musical Director for churches and schools across the country, and her mother, an organist working on her PHD in music. At the age of 14, Sarah was accepted into the vocal and dance department at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Texas. At the age of 15, she was accepted into the prestigious Houston Ballet Academy under the the direction of Ben Stevenson & Clara Cravey. At 16, Sarah began a two year relationship with The Joffrey ballet School in New York while training there under scholarship during the summers of 2000 & 2001. One of the highlights of her ballet career includes a solo performance at Lincoln Center as a finalist at the Youth American Grand Prix. Sarah’s jazz training includes some of the industry’s best such as Keith Cross (Gus Giordano Jazz Chicago - Delia Stewart), Slam Gauwloos (Madonna, Britney Spears & Broadway), and Beth Gulledge- Brown (U.C.T Ballet Company - CAPAB Ballet Company), among others. In 2001, she performed at the Jazz World Congress in Monterey, Mexico and in 2002, she performed in the Tanz Sommer Dance Festival in Austria. Sarah has landed lead roles in Oliver (as Oliver) and Fiddler on the Roof (as Bielky), and was also cast in The Music Man and Anything Goes. Sarah has over ten years of dance studio administration experience and over 20 years of dance experience.

Rachael Bynum

Rachael Bynum is an American Musician, Music Director, Accompanist, and Vocal Director for youth, High School, and professional productions. Rachael's career has been spent in education and music. Rachael has helped to direct a 60-80 person family chorus, and is a paid accompanist for local junior and senior high schools. She also spent 20 years participating in Christian rock bands, playing keys, singing, and playing bass. Notably, Rachael was the Vocal Director for 2 performance segments performed at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City for the Arts For Autism Benefit Concert Featuring Kelly O’Hara (Kiss Me Kate) and Christopher Jackson (Hamilton). She was also the Vocal Director for the Texas Thespians All-State Cast where she worked with 50+ students from across the state of Texas to perform in a closing ceremony performance in front of 8,000 attendees with Broadway greats, Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday In the Park With George) & Wilson Germaine Heredia (Rent)! "I believe that making music can be joyous for everyone – from the naturally talented to the recreational musician."
