Sarah’s influence in the arts undoubtedly came from her parents - her father working as the Musical Director for churches and schools across the country, and her mother, an organist working on her PHD in music.
At the age of 14, Sarah was accepted into the vocal and dance department at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Texas. At the age of 15, she was accepted into the prestigious Houston Ballet Academy under the the direction of Ben Stevenson & Clara Cravey.

One of the highlights of her ballet career includes a solo performance at Lincoln Center as a finalist at the Youth American Grand Prix. Sarah’s jazz training includes some of the industry’s best such as Keith Cross (Gus Giordano Jazz Chicago - Delia Stewart), Slam Gauwloos (Madonna, Britney Spears & Broadway), and Beth Gulledge- Brown (U.C.T Ballet Company - CAPAB Ballet Company), among others. In 2001, she performed at the Jazz World Congress in Monterey, Mexico and in 2002, she performed in the Tanz Sommer Dance Festival in Austria. Sarah has landed lead roles in Oliver (as Oliver) and Fiddler on the Roof (as Bielky), and was also cast in The Music Man and Anything Goes.
