Class Description

This class will be an exploration of how to build a character from the ground up, that is drawn from and fully encompasses the text of a play or musical. How do you use your full imagination to create a character while still honoring what the playwright has written? How do you create a world convincing enough to live in for two hours a night on stage? How do you make choices for your character that compel an audience to lean in?
