Class Description

Theater truly comes alive when we believe the relationships between the characters on stage. When the actors truly connect to each other, then the audience can fully engage. In this class, we will learn how to begin to connect to ourselves in order to connect to one other on stage and build authentic character relationships.

Teacher:

Sarah Steindl

Sarah has been acting since she knew how to play pretend and began writing her own plays and putting them on with her friends when she was six. Fast forward 15 years to when she graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in Creative Writing and a minor in Theatre Arts. She currently serves as a teaching assistant with the A.D. Players Performing Arts Academy, and her favorite role to date is the goofy, adorable Annelle Dupuy-DeSoto in "Steel Magnolias." She is so pumped to begin this new journey with CYT and can't wait to meet everyone's smiling faces!
