You'll have a great time with old and new friends as we prepare this delightful medley of Disney favorites. Includes: Friend Like Me("Aladdin"); I Wan'na Be Like You ("The Jungle Book"); If I Didn't Have You ("Monsters, Inc."); That's What Friends Are For ("The Jungle Book") and You've Got A Friend in Me ("Toy Story").

In this class, we will explore vocal production, character voices, and beginning music reading while learning fun songs that will reinforce basic singing skills. Other skills covered will include developing stage presence and confidence, and how to interpret a song's lyrics and purpose as we learn to sing with style and character!

My name is Debbie Moore and I am so excited to be involved with CYT this coming season!! I am a 1979 graduate of McAllen High School where I was a two year member of the Texas All-State Choir. I can't remember when I wasn't involved in music. I graduated from college at The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Music degree with a K-12 teaching certificate. I have been very lucky in that in my 29 years of teaching, I have indeed taught every level. I retired from Klein ISD in 2013. I am extremely active in the music ministries at Klein UMC and am founder and director of the Tapestry Women's Choir here at Klein. I cannot wait to get to know each one of you as we begin a journey together!!
