How do you leave your fears behind, put yourself out there, and become the heart and soul of the character you want to portray? This class is designed to provide the students the skills to develop a character. It will develop each student’s acting techniques in expressing comedy, drama, farce and emotion. This is an intermediate/advanced level class!

Hello. My name is Rebecca McDowell and I have been a parent volunteer, show coordinator, assistant director, director, and teacher with CYTH since 2012 when my daughter, James, performed in her first CYT production, "The Wizard of Oz". I directed "Elf, Jr., the Musical" this fall, and had the BEST time with my cast, crew, and families!! YAY! I have loved all of these important roles and I am thankful to be part of CYT Houston!
I love Jesus, my kids, my family and friends, my pets, and my students. I also teach English and formal writing to homeschool kids and I volunteer with the Players Theatre Company in Conroe, Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the classes I am teaching this session.
