Class Description

This comedic western melodrama is full of fun and mystery! A once roaring gold mine town has now become a ghost town with only a few eccentric folk left calling it home. But all of their homes are endangered when the villainous new banker forces them to pay the rent due or get out in the cold ! BOO! Will the lovely heroine get her beau she dreams of? Will the sheriff solve the mystery of the flickering lights and ghostly sounds in the deserted gold mine? Will the mysterious woman become not-so-mysterious? Will the town be saved by a hero all dressed in white? All will be answered with cheers, hisses, and hilarity when this play full of comedic characters is finished. YAY!

Please note:  Class dates will be on Tuesdays, beginning on February 23rd.  The students will have ONE additional class on Thursday, April 22nd during their regular class time, at Klein United Methodist Church.  This will be time for them to work on their show, on the stage they will be performing on, with any sets and props they will need.  (Consider this tech night, in a way)

Project Plays will be performed in a Play Festival on April 24 at Klein United Methodist Church.  Two complimentary tickets will be set aside for family of the students in the project play.  Additional seats will be sold.  Students will be called at 4:00pm and the festival will begin at 6:00pm and is expected to have a run time of approximately 2 hours.
***Attendance at the Play Festival is a requirement of registering for this class!
