Description

The announcers head to the stage to remind our audience of all the "Do's" and "Dont's" of theater etiquette during our performance. But, not all patrons follow the rules! So....let's poke some fun at some of the most annoying, irritating, and sometimes downright unlawful things our audience members can do during a show! In this class, students will work collaboratively to create their own script and act it out, while honing our acting chops in characterization, projection, movement and blocking. See you in the audience!
Prerequisite: Must have completed 2 classes in Beginning/Intermediate Drama **Please do not sign up for this class unless you have met the prerequisite

Hi! My name is Jen Shoemake, and I am beyond thrilled to be teaching drama in the North and coordinating classes for our awesome east side in Houston! I have been a part of CYT since 2015. I've served as a teacher, camp and show coordinator, committee member and Chair, Artistic Team intern and most importantly, parent! I grew up loving theater and feel right at home on the stage and behind the scenes. I am looking so forward to working with all of the children God is sending our way, and helping them glorify Christ through the arts!
