Counselor:

Daniel Z. Miller

Daniel Z. Miller is a Senior Musical Theatre Major at Texas State University. He is a CYT alum, and has been singing his whole life under the direction of Jane Hallford, Lisa Borik, and David Horn and Michael Maresca, among others. He is a composer as well, and was recently commissioned by the department of Theatre and Dance to write a full length musical which will be work shopped and produced next year.

Counselor:

Hannah Weaver

Hannah has loved singing, dancing, and acting her whole life. Her middle and high school years were spent training classically in voice performance and performing in Joyful Sound Choir’s many dance troupes all over houston. She’s been involved with CYT Houston for over ten years now. First as a student, now as a teacher and member of artistic teams. In the summer of 2015 Hannah was nominated for "Best Actress in A Minor Role" for "The General, In Guys and Dolls" by the Montgomery County theatre community, and had the incredible honor of being called back for the role of Tracy in NBC's Hairspray Live in 2016. Most recently she completed her first original production, writing, directing and performing in The Race to Save Christmas! Hannah believes Musical Theatre is one of our culture's greatest conduits for expression and empathy. "I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being." -Thornton Wilder
