Show Boat is widely considered one of the most influential works of the American musical theatre. The first true musical, its influence is still felt and admired. We will learn musical theater history, period makeup and costuming, and classic song, drama, and dance for the stage as we explore the Mississippi on the SHOW BOAT!!!
